Although their children have reportedly been asking them to end their years-long custody battle, Angelina Jolie apparently intends to keep it going for as long as she sees beneficial.

As per a new report by NewsNation Now, the actress is open to keeping the custody dispute going until her and Brad Pitt’s youngest children, twins Vivienne and Knox, are of legal age – which will be in 4 more years. “She is going to drag this [custody battle] out until the twins [now 14] turn 18,” an anonymous source who’s reportedly a friend of Brad explained. “Four more years.”

Angelina and Brad were together for over a decade before they split in 2016. Since then, they’ve been arguing over the division of their assets as well as custody of their six kids.

The former couple’s oldest children are no longer minors, so any custody arrangement is no longer applicable to them. But Brad and Angelina twins as well as their second oldest daughter, Shiloh, 17, are still minors.

Brad Pitt Has Spent $14 Million Fighting Angelina Jolie

It’s been seven years of fighting, with the exes making various allegations against once another. In court documents, Angelina accused Brad of having alcohol issues and being abusive, including during a 2016 incident on a private jet.

The jet incident was apparently the catalyst for their break-up. Angelina claims Brad became physical with some of their children when they tried to intervene in the fight. The FBI later launched an investigation but cleared Brad. Since then, Brad has been trying to maintain access to their minor children, whereas Angelina has reportedly been trying to keep their contact with him limited.

The report by NewsNation Now claims that Brad has spent over $14 million on their divorce over the years, and he’ll likely have to keep spending big bucks if Angelina doesn’t drop her goal of maintaining primary custody.

Aside from their custody dispute, Angelina and Brad are engaged in another lawsuit over Chateau Miravel, the French winery they once owned together.

Brad launched the case after Angelina sold her shares to a Russian oligarch, Yuri Shefler, which Brad claims she did unlawfully and without his knowledge. It’s also been reported that she chose to see her shares to Shefler in hopes of hurting Brad’s reputation.

Brad And Angelina’s Kids Are Begging Them To Drop The Custody Case

It’s not only Angelina and Brad who are likely tired of all the in-court fighting. It’s apparently taken a toll on their kids, too. In June, it was reported that Brangelina’s children were becoming vocal about their hope for their parents to drop the custody dispute.

"Angelina doesn't want to let her fight for sole custody go, but the children are growing up, and even they tell their mom it's time to stop," a source told Radar Online in June. The insider said that the kids are “fine” with seeing Brad. “Maybe with the exception of Maddox, they all actually like him,” they added.

Unfortunately, if the reports are true that Angelina plan to drag out the custody battle, Brad may have no choice but to wait until his youngest kids turn 18 and can decide how much contact they want with their parents.
